Hi Guys, before i will start let me firs introduce myself, My Name is Byron Vincent Arreza Ribo but you can call me boo for short i have been for 17 years, i will be 18 this coming April 7, i don’t have girlfriend  because i wanna date someone cuter than me but sadly i am the cutest. i’m currently studying Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation at University of Cebu. My father’s name is Ulysses B. Ribo and My mother’s name is Viviene Arreza . I am proud being a student of UC-METCbecause I know this school could develop me into a better individual and will turn me into a successful Seafarer someday . they have the style of education that encourages you to pursue the truth. The academic offers not only affordable but also it quality education responsive to the demands of local international communities to whom owned by Atty. Augusto W. Go.The University of Cebu molded each and every student not only in academics but also in sports like Basketball, Soccer,Swimming and many other sports.

The nation needs to prepare early for the 2016 national election. It is a very important election because Filipinos will choose their leader for the next six years and their choice could either make or break the progressive streak that the incumbent administration has started. so i choose mayor Rodrigo Duterte because he is a honest,fearless and responsible leader. The  main problem in our country today  are  Corruption,Drugs and Poverty
Our country is in a dire situation and would never be able to move forward unless a good leader takes its helm. and the good leader is Duterte he is our hope, he is a problem solver and He has balls and is not afraid of anyone.He is an achiever and a transformational leader. He changed the behavior of Davaoeños and made Davao the ninth safest city in the world! That’s an awesome achievement that no other Filipino can possibly duplicate.There may never be another person like Duterte who can turn the country around. What he has done in Davao City is a microcosm of what he can do for the country. His leadership,integrity and dedication would be capable of instituting measures that can effectively deal with what ails the country. Most of the people nowadays are being addicted to drugs,cocaine,and marijuana.I cannot tell you about the personal morality of Mayor Duterte. I can tell you what he has publicly done  he has turned a backwater city into a global benchmark.He should be made president of the Philippines, so crime,drugs and corruption will not be tolerated, The question narrows down to the voter. Are you afraid of DUTERTE? Why? Because of your law abiding neighbor might be killed, arrested and put in prisoned by Duterte’s police and soldiers.The  main reason why I choose Duterte because he is just simple,honest and strong person.in  order ti have successful vote we must think,realize and choose wisely who among the candidates deserve to rule the world.

   I want to share to everyone my experience in English 2 wait how would i start this My first experience of learning the English 2 was challenging,  interesting and satisfying. first of all i would like to thank our beautiful instructor Mr Antonio who really gives inspiration to each one of us and who also gives meaning  of writing in our daily lives even though he is strict sometimes but he really challenge us to become responsible cadets and  to become professional blogger. now today I’m going to share with you part of my experience in learning English The first thing is motivation. How can you motivate yourself  Well, first of all you should know what kind of student you are. let English be a part of your everyday life. It’ll become part of yourself. the title of our English discussion today is prior to discipline,to learn and to improve our writing skills I Really hate writing not because i am lazy but i don’t usually use English i cant really express my self because i have low grammar  skills.I will lose myself interest in English. I should read more , write more and practice more. I always want to improve myself in my English. I usually recite new words i cant really express through English. Learning a new language is never easy. However, you can always make learning fun as long as you are motivated,inspired and interested. Since I started studying English I began learning fundamental concepts and rules of English grammar there’s always been an English dictionary by my side and my night table is full of books and magazines in English  every time  i have assignments about English i don’t do it by myself i will ask my sister to do it for me i just want to eat,to dance and to play ball.  i know Grammar is very important to find answers, to be correct and to be professional writer, the moment i study English 2 which prior to writing it gives me hope,courage and faith in every project that i will make in English 2 i really did not regret in our instruct i admire his teaching skills the way he smiles to us he is just really enjoying in teaching he really inspire us to become a writer someday he really improves the way i express,think and understand complicated things. he is really blessed and a good professional writer i remember In each and every class, my beautiful instructor just gave us some new vocabulary and then used them to make one sentence after another. Finally, we were asked to read again and again. The worst thing is that we were made to recite a passage after we have learned a new article. We gain confidence by giving presentations in the class , we also do so many interesting activities, we enjoy each and every moment of our class. We learn new things every day. Now I can say with open heart that I can speak with everyone i remember when each one of us recite our own poem infront of our classmates we had fun we share to other people how creative we are and thats why i love our instructor he really help us and improve our weaknesses all i can say is he is the best the best teacher the best inspiration and mostly the best writer.

Hello Everyone, I would like to explain the purpose of making a blog but before that i would like to tell you that i hate making a blog because i have a poor grammar skills i cant really express my self using English language but the moment i make a first post of my blog entitled about my self i was really trying to improve my grammar i know this is my first time to make a blog  but i know that someday i might be a  better blogger.

Now i will tell  you the purpose of  blog first is to express your thoughts and opinions second is to establish yourself as an expert on any field or topic. some blogger  is just making fun and creative  to stay connected with friends and family.

The world has shrunk since the Internet has become more accessible. Blogs provide a simple way for family and friends to stay connected from different parts of the world by sharing stories, photos, videos and more. today’s generation is really more in internet some people know you through internet that’s why blog is very important in this generation.

I was really happy because i know now how to make a blog and the importance of blog, i didn’t regret studying in UC-METC  and meet our beautiful instructor who gives happiness to students and give his time to teach us how to be a professional blogger, i know not yet this time but ill assure you that he will help us step by step.

I am excited for the next topic of our blog because  i am ready to express what are my opinions. the only way to be successful blogging is having a passion about your blog’s topic.that is what i will do to prove to anybody that a student in UC-METC is a good blogger.  i want to be like my instructor who gives inspiration to other people.

 

Sinulog Festival of Cebu City is the most celebrated festival in the Philippines. It is the time when people, in Cebu and nearby provinces, flock in the streets of the Queen City of the South to participate in three major activities: join the processions and be pilgrims, watch the colorful parade, and get wasted on street parties.

 “Viva Pit Señor!” goes the marching of people dressed in vivid attires and matching headgear’s.  I didn’t really know what to expect. Words like “huge amount of people” and “parades, fiestas, and statues of Santo Niño”. I will tell you my experience  in sinulog 2016.

Wow, how would I start this? . I really never expected to be a part of this festival because usually, I stay home. But, it has been our tradition to attend the procession. Just the procession, really.  i slept only for 2 hours because i have to wake up around 3 am
to serve as human barricade at the parade route.

I don’t really like to go but it is a subject.it is important in order for me to pass on that subject,  i really did not enjoy early in the morning because its too hot and we cant control the crowd some are pushing some are blaming us for not letting them crossing the road its like they are too desperate to meet the artist and to take picture.

I saw many artist especially maja salvador  all i can say is she is so damn pretty.
in the afternoon the crowd gone wild  shouting  pushing us we didn’t control the crowd i was wondering who is in the float why people shouts very hard. the moment i saw it is coco martin who totally handsome with bella padilla.

Afternoon around 3 pm i want to meet my friends and go to party but we will serve until 7 pm it was so hot i cant feel my legs i tried to escape and go home to rest. when i got home i change  and rest for 30 mins and go back and meet my friends. I had to walk so far with so many people (crowded people) since public vehicles were not allowed. But, it was worth walking because i meet my friends some of my friends is already drunk while i am still fresh, they will go to mango.

I’m not familiar with the places there. It was even the first time I went there. Things happened unexpectedly! I never thought how fun was it there. And there I was taking pictures of happy people. We also saw my friends! Then, they wiped a paint in my face and then I got dirty. (sighs) I really really had fun! Except for those who sprinkles alcoholic drinks coz I find it abominable. But, still I had fun.

It was the first time I joined a street party. It was good.  people shouting “Pit senor migo”
Sinulog experience won’t be complete if you’re not going to join the street parties along Mango Avenue. For us, we had fun in the well known Baseline where everyone was allowed to put paints, throw colored powders, and splash beers on anyone’s head, face and body. I was hesitant at first, but I saw myself in the crowd afterwards.

Consuming five bottles of Mojitos  3 black label and 2 Jack Daniels  didn’t stop us from partying and getting more drinks and food from the adjacent table. We were drunk and we thought we were friends with the people on the other table; they were kind to share what they have though. all people are so friendly they will hug you and say  the magic word
“Pit Senor”.

I go home 4 am so tired so  wasted i don’t even know how did i get home. i don’t have a descent pic last night because you know you had fun if you didn’t spend the whole time taking pictures, The best nights are the ones you don’t upload. all i can say in my sinulog 2016 wasn’t best enough as last years sinulog maybe i’m just tired and because i didn’t complete novena mass.

 

 

Hello, My Name is Byron Vincent Arreza, Ribo but you can call me boo for short i have been for 17 years, i will be 18 this coming April 7, i don’t have girlfriend  because i wanna date someone cuter than me but sadly i am the cutest. i’m currently studying Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation at University of Cebu. i’m into so many kinds of sports  like basketball,badminton,volleyball but usually i play for basketball because i’m varsity way back in high school at University of San Carlos South Campus, i’m a honor student in high school  because i’m so responsible of everything that i do  i put dedication in everything that i work, i live with my father today because my mother leave me when  i was a kid its so sad because i’m a mom’s boy i keep on crying every day because i miss her so bad i want to hug her tight but sadly we don’t communicate i know she has already a family  and i respect that i don’t hate her for leaving us i hate her because she has no time to communicate with me. when i was a kid i hate everybody i don’t talk a lot to other i hate expressing myself because i hate everything but as i grow up i understand the importance of people who are there for you no matter what i always think of my mother but i don’t think that my dad is there for me, my friends is there for me,as i grow up i understand so many things about life like things will not change but you will change.  I like to inspire people with everything I do and for me to successfully do that, I consider my family and the people that I love and of course, the Big Man above, as my inspiration and the root of all my success.
